Our internationally recognised Child Nursing degree course will give you the skills and experience to launch a rewarding career.

Over the course of this three-year BSc programme, you will learn about the holistic health and wellbeing needs of children, young people, and their families.

Through a mix of academic study and practical clinical experience, you will develop the professional skills to provide high quality, evidence-based nursing care and health protection measures in a range of clinical and community settings, often working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across the health and social care sectors.

Half of our teaching takes place in the university and the other half in healthcare settings. We have excellent working relationships with many healthcare providers, so you will have access to a wide range of clinical experiences across south west Wales. These include placements in the NHS and independent sector in hospitals and community settings.
