The Specialist and Master’s program in Stomata, Injuries, and Burns, seeks to actively influence prevention, care, education, and therapy in patients. Our objective consists of providing scientific and humanistic tools for the development of competencies in the treatment of injuries, burns, and stomata.
We are convinced that patients, family members, and medical teams will benefit from the development of these competencies which are necessary in our country.
If you opt to complement your training with this graduate program, you can devote yourself with a greater degree of knowledge to the comprehensive care of the patient, the family, and the community in all processes of the life-cycle.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
To train physicians and nurses to apply knowledge and tools to attend to any person who presents injuries, burns, stomata, and pelvic floor dysfunction in a professional, ethical, and competent manner. To this end we employ critical and clinical evidence-based reasoning privileging student-teacher interaction in clinical management and research.
