It trains Doctors with an attitude of service to society who are capable of carrying out projects that evaluate and improve the behavior of the Logistics Processes along the Supply Chain, through the application of optimization methods and models, simulation of systems in the areas of industrial engineering and economic-administrative sciences, in order to generate, contribute and apply new knowledge to the cultural heritage through scientific articles that contain proposals for solutions to highly complex logistics problems.

- Plan and direct innovative and ethical research projects contemplating the planning, design, operation and evaluation of the Supply Chain.
- Design distribution networks considering from the supply of the raw material, processing of the product to its distribution.

- Apply inventory control models in the various contexts of organizations by rating different approaches to decisionmaking.
- Structure an overview of a traditional Supply Chain to a Sustainable Supply Chain clarifying the feasibility of its transformation.
- Investigate Mexico's competitiveness of the world, as well as the Logistics Performance Index by examining opportunities for the country's improvement to be more competitive.
