To train Masters in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development competent in managing the use of natural resources, reducing the negative impact of human activities and influencing the development planning of productivity goals in companies, government agencies and nongovernmental organizations, through ethical, humanistic and socially responsible participation, humanistic and socially responsible participation in the formulation of diagnoses, applied research, design and execution of projects, continuous evaluation and innovation in the areas of energy, water and soil, atmosphere and natural resources, to contribute to the prevention, mitigation and resolution of local environmental problems, and the protection and conservation of natural capital that contribute to sustainable development.

- Carries out sustainable projects in the areas of environment and energy that mitigate, compensate and identify innovative business opportunities in the public and private sectors.
- Provides environmental consulting in the use of clean and saving technologies to private companies, public institutions and civil society organizations.
- Designs strategies for sustainability in the use of natural resources that recognize their strategic value and efficient use in the administration of natural capital.
- Proposes sustainable projects that provide solutions to climate change and, in general, to the negative impacts generated by human beings based on environmental legislation, industrial safety and hygiene, and business planning.
- Develops energy sustainability projects that promote the use of renewable energies with low carbon emissions and atmospheric pollution that respond to development plans and local, national and international commitments to compensate for the negative impacts of environmental liabilities.
- Promotes the efficient use of energy, renewable energies with low carbon emissions and atmospheric pollution.
- Adapts the use of clean and decontaminating technologies that mitigate environmental pollution in ecosystems.
- Works in inter, trans and multidisciplinary teams managing with social responsibility and solidarity the resources, goods and services in their charge.
