It trains Masters in Energy Management who develop a culture of continuous improvement of energy performance derived from the energy contained in natural processes, through the application of planning strategies and comprehensive evaluation of energy sustainability projects, in order to promote the implementation of cost and energy saving practices in facilities, processes, equipment and operations, within the daily practice of organizations in an ethical and humanistic way.


Graduate profile:

  • Provides advice on energy management in the transportation, distribution, commercialization and final use of energy to private companies, public institutions and civil society organizations.
  • Performs comprehensive planning of energy projects integrating economic, regulatory and financial information analysis required in the technical and economic management of the different business areas in the energy sector companies.
  • Designs energy sustainability strategies incorporating technological innovations, creative deregulation options and competitive advantages of conventional and renewable sources.
  • Proposes energy management projects to establish short, medium and long term objectives aimed at achieving optimization in the use of energy resources and their techniques, providing solutions to climate change and in general to the negative impacts generated by human beings.
  • It carries out energy sustainability projects that integrate the use of renewable energies with low carbon emissions and atmospheric pollution, that respond to development plans and local, national and international commitments to compensate for the negative impacts of environmental liabilities.
  • Promotes the efficient use of energy and renewable energies with low carbon emissions and atmospheric pollution.
  • Measures and monitors energy use to identify areas for improvement, reduce energy consumption and payments as well as carbon emissions that meet government reduction targets and increase bidding opportunities.
  • Works in inter, trans and multidisciplinary teams managing resources, goods and services with social responsibility and solidarity.
