This specialization is an important branch of literary studies, as it is concerned with the formation of students in order to understand and comprehend the curricula of the literary stages in their various stages of development, from the pre-Islamic Greek, Roman and Arab antiquity, and the stage of early Islam and beyond until the age of decadence, renaissance, modernity and post-modernity. And a close look at the various developments in Arab and international literature.

This specialization aims to train the student during his graduation in the bachelor's degree in order to familiarize the student with ancient and modern literary texts in Arab culture in general, and read them in the light of various literary approaches.

As well as adapting the reading of texts to keep pace with the requirements of the modern era and its various cultural problems. Especially at the local and regional level.
