Training aims

Process Engineering is an important sector in the field of science and technology (Domain ST). Indeed, this sector, which initially developed around fundamental Chemical Engineering, brings together a very wide range of specialties (Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, Cryogenics, Energetics, Agro- food, etc).

Process Engineering is essential in all industrial processes for the transformation of matter and energy. To this end, it is essential to train people capable of mastering transformation processes on an industrial scale. This license, whose curriculum contains the fundamental subjects of the sector (physical chemistry, unit operations, transfer phenomena, reactors, etc.) constitutes basic training for all the specialties of Process Engineering. At the end of this multidisciplinary training, the diplomas will have acquired basic knowledge, not only in fundamental sciences (Maths, Physics, Chemistry), but also in technology and industrial processes (Reactors, Process, Transfer Phenomena, Instrumentation, Industrial Installations , etc.) which are necessary for the understanding of process engineering and its various applications.

This training allows the diploma to not only continue studies and prepare for various specialized masters, but also to integrate quickly into the socio-economic sector.

Evaluation method:

Students are assessed by:

1- Continuous assessment: questions during the semester, presentations, report.

2- Control: an exam at the end of the semester.

Opportunities:

The professional opportunities offered by this training are numerous and concern different sectors, we can cite for example:

Very large companies:

Steel industry, cement industry, brickworks, glass industry, Sonatrach, PMA (agricultural machinery production company), military industry, ENICAB (electric cable production company), industrial of packaging, ENPC (National company for the transformation of plastic materials and its subsidiaries).

Small and medium enterprises:

The field of construction materials, plastics processing, the mechanical industry, the packaging industry, the materials processing industry, the ceramics industry, the composites industry.

The professional opportunities offered by this training are numerous and concern all sectors of activity.

Technical education :

The professions of technical education in high schools; Vocational training professions (vocational training centres);

The profession of technician in the construction materials, materials processing, packaging, ceramics, glass, wood, brickyards, cement factories, etc. ;

Executive functions in public administration such as trade services; The activities of design offices ranging from design to dimensioning (sectors: building, mechanical engineering, ergonomics, transport, etc.).
