The overall objective of the Master's "Urban Hydraulics" to reformulate is to respond, to support the national strategy in terms of water policy by high-level specialists, who can take charge of studies, control of the monitoring of carrying out hydraulic works, namely: the mobilization of water, collection, adduction, treatment, distribution, sanitation, protection against flooding and the purification of waste water in a context of water stress and climate change. This training aims to provide applicants with:
- sufficient and adequate theoretical and practical knowledge to better ensure their successful integration into professions in the field of water and water management;
- an integrated vision of techniques and technologies for collecting, mobilizing, treating and distributing water;
- good mastery of the integrated management of water resources;
- good control of the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment and purification stations
Valuation method
This specialized training in Urban Hydraulics is intended for students who have already graduated in one of the following specialties: Hydraulics (any option) or Civil Engineering (after study of the file)
, and any other specialty is justified by an equivalent course in terms of educational content and this after approval by the scientific committee of the department. The acquisition of knowledge is assessed by regular continuous monitoring and practical tests as well as a final exam. There will be one exam session per semester followed by a remedial session for each semester. The course is sanctioned by a master's thesis of initiation to research.
