This part-time programme is designed for dental practitioners who want to develop their theoretical knowledge and practical clinical experience of treatment planning, surgical placement, restoration and maintenance of dental implants. Students will gain experience of the use of dental implants in prosthodontic treatment within a supervised environment. Knowledge is developed using distance learning modules and study days. There is also an opportunity to carry out a research project or literature review and prepare a dissertation.
