The MSc East Asian Development and the Global Economy programme will explore the development of East Asia within the wider context of global economy and development. Students will examine the opportunities, challenges and strategic issues created for international business by the further growth and regional economic integration in East Asia. This programme will also explore the developing patterns of trade within East Asia and between East Asian nations and other regions of the world. In addition, students will gain core theoretical knowledge and understanding of development and international political economy. This programme is suitable for those wishing to pursue careers in the civil service, NGOs and charity work - require an MSc and some volunteer/internship experience.
