How do people learn a first and second language? And how do society and language react to each other? In particular, you focus on multilingualism and language acquisition.
Grammar and phonology, language acquisition, sociolinguistics, multilingualism: different perspectives are discussed. During the program you will study the linguistic, cognitive, educational and social factors of multilingualism and you will analyze directed and undirected language acquisition. You will also learn to link to the development of language policy and language evaluation material (language diagnostics). Your knowledge is therefore relevant for a broad professional field. The program also contains a compulsory practical component. An internship is the perfect opportunity to apply your acquired knowledge and skills in practice.
