People, meanings and interactions
Innovation and intervention are the everyday reality in almost every organization. Organizations strive to adapt to the new demands of their environment. Change often focuses on streamlining, controlling and standardizing organizational activities with the aim of working more efficiently; save costs; to be able to serve the customer better or to be able to account more transparently to the outside world (to the government and other 'stakeholders') about how they operate and perform.
Managing change is not only about managing formal structures and technologies, but also about managing human behavior and organizational culture. From this point of view, issues of political behaviour, leadership, learning, identity and meaning and cultural change naturally play a major role. Change management is therefore not about simple solutions, applying blueprints or simple models; it's about people, meanings and interactions. This requires insight, sharp analyzes and creative ability.
