The mission of the Master's degree program is to ensure the improvement of the professional training of graduates in the field of health care, to train specialists prepared for the current socio-economic needs, and to broaden the horizon of knowledge for graduates in other fields.
Objectives: 1. ensuring the prospect of furthering undergraduate studies for graduates of the first cycle of university studies (bachelor's degree); 2. ensuring an optimal framework for acquiring specialized knowledge and developing professional skills; 3. developing the capacity for an interdisciplinary, integrative approach, with a view to specialized training in Medical Biology; 4. correlating and adapting teaching activities to the needs of the socio-economic environment, through the permanent updating and flexibilization of curricula and continuous professional training.
Transmitted knowledge: 1. notions, concepts, and principles regarding the homeostasis of the human body and its changes; 2. investigation and interpretation of the molecular and cellular basis of the organization, functioning, and development of the human body, in broader contexts associated with the study program; 3. use of appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods for conducting investigations regarding the structure and functions of the human organism under normal and pathological conditions; 4. explanation and interpretation of data resulting from determinations, including possible errors; 5. identification and use of algorithms for knowledge of the biology and pathology of the human body; 6. analysis of scientific information specific to the field from the perspective of transdisciplinary correlations.
