The Industrial Design is a bachelor study programme in the field of Industrial Engineering. The main objectives of Industrial Design programme are to provide knowledge and skills training in the design and promotion of innovative products with high technical-functional, aesthetic and economic competitiveness, in line with the principles of sustainable development. The aim is to provide students with the necessary know-how to meet the demands of employers and society, thus facilitating the immediate absorption of graduates of this study program in the national and international labor market. Graduates of the Industrial Design bachelor's degree program will be able, among others, to:
establish the objective specifications of a given product;
apply conceptual design models to solve concrete practical situations;
define criteria for assessing alternative solutions with a view to identifying optimal solutions;
use specific techniques for product modeling and performance testing;
integrate aesthetic and ergonomic principles into the design and sustainable development of products etc.
The professional training of graduates of the Industrial Design programme gives them access to occupations such as: industrial designer, mechanical engineer designer, industrial graphic designer, web designer, graphic designer, researcher/research engineer in technical creation in machine building.
