The mission of the specialisation is in line with the mission of the university, namely to train specialists with higher education in some of the most in demanded fields in the labour market: quality manager, quality professional, quality auditor. Competences and skills acquired in this programme are:
- use of latest knowledge in the quality management of industrial systems, environment and occupational health and safety;
- in-depth knowledge, advanced design, implementation and auditing of the quality management systems in industrial engineering;
- advanced design, development and implementation of integrated quality - environment - occupational health and safety system;
- fulfil the duties of management representative responsible for the quality system;
- conducting system, product and process internal audits;
- conducting second party audits for the assessment of clients, subcontractors in accordance with EN ISO 19011 - audit of quality/environmental management systems;
- knowledge and application of legal rules on product/service quality;
- use of CE marking - product safety in the European Community.
