PROFESSIONAL RETRAINING OF TEACHING STAFF IN PRE-UNIVERSITY EDUCATION
COMPUTER SCIENCE
The duration of the professional retraining program is 3 semesters/4 semesters, corresponding to the accumulation of a minimum of 90/120 transferable study credits, while the graduates aquire competencies for teaching Computer Science.
Teaching staff employed in the pre-university education system who hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent are eligible to enroll in professional retraining programs.
Admission to the COMPUTER SCIENCE professional retraining program is done by submitting an application, which will be reviewed based on the documents provided. The required documents for enrollment can be found on our website:

The COMPUTER SCIENCE retraining diploma allows the graduates to teach Computer Science in pre-university education system.
Teachers who complete a professional retraining program after earning a bachelor's degree can work only in preschool and compulsory pre-university education, or in practical training positions.
Teachers who complete a professional retraining program after earning a master's degree can work at any level of pre-university education.
The “Definitivat” teaching certifications and the second and first teaching degrees already obtained by teachers are also recognized for COMPUTER SCIENCE, if the specialization was acquired through the professional retraining program.
