The BSc Computer Networking course provides the skills to specialise in the networking and IT infrastructure industries. It includes both the knowledge required for the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), but also a variety of system management skills in Windows, Unix and virtualisation, along with specialisms such as wireless networks and cybersecurity. This course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) as fully meeting the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered IT Professional and, on behalf of the Engineering Council, as fully meeting the academic requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partially meeting the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Part-time students must complete their studies within 6 years to gain BCS recognition.
