The specialist MSc in Cyber Security reflects existing theories, methods, principles and knowledge but keeps an eye on emerging theories, methods, principles, knowledge and technologies to ensure that they are full-equipped to meet the threat of cyber attacks. Students will also be exposed to the legal, social, ethical issues associated with cyber security and to the professional responsibilities of cyber security practitioners. Each student will undertake an individual project as part of this Masters degree which allows students to carry out a substantive work based project on a topic of interest either in the University or, where possible, in a company.
