The UWS Filmmaking & Screen Writing course offers a unique balance between film theory, filmmaking and script writing. It is ideal for those aiming to pursue careers in cinema. Throughout this course, students will learn how to write scripts, make films and study cinema as art, culture and commerce. In addition, students will learn post-production techniques and build a portfolio of work that will give you an edge in the creative sector. Modules are taught by industry professionals and students will use the latest digital film technology, television studios, and performance spaces. Whilst the programme is based at Ayr campus, it also benefits from having a teaching space at Film City, Glasgow, which is the hub for filmmaking activity in Scotland.
