The BA English as a Second Language course is designed for EU/international students who wish to become proficient in English. Students will learn English language in small groups, refining and expanding their knowledge and understanding of the language and its cultures, and focusing on authentic language development. This course is only open to non-native speakers of English. This one or two-year course offers entry at degree year level, building on students’ studies from their home institution. There are English language and culture modules, and students can choose from various related subjects to increase their fluency and confidence in English and their knowledge of English-speaking culture.
