Germany has always been the central of the European intellectual tradition and is now the driving force of its economy and the EU. Throughout this course, students will explore the extraordinary breadth and depth of German language and culture in collaboration with recognised experts in the field. During their time on campus, students will cover topics spanning literature, visual culture, history, translation, transnationalism, politics and philosophy. The second or third year is spent abroad, consolidating and enhancing their learning.
