Our goal is to educate physicians with a solid background in the humanities and social sciences, in the wealth of globalized scientific knowledge, familiar with technology, with a strong personal and professional ethic, innovative, consistent, and prepared to serve a country and a constantly changing world.

Our program is designed to be completed in 12 academic semesters and comprises 251 credits. Each course syllabus establishes a competency-based learning approach, the process of which is aligned with the established objectives and includes assessment consistent with this model. You will gradually develop the competencies outlined in the program, and a team of expert instructors will help you strengthen them to achieve exceptional performance.

The Faculty of Medicine has been undergoing a curriculum review process for several years, which has resulted in changes related to credit allocation, course reshuffling, and modifications to the content and competencies of some courses. Therefore, the currently published curriculum is subject to progressive changes, which will be communicated to the entire academic community in a timely manner to ensure clarity throughout the educational process. Likewise, students already enrolled who encounter these curriculum changes during their studies will be entitled to a transition process that guarantees no impact on the quality of their education or the duration of their program.
