In the Master's Program in Visual, Electronic, and Time-Based Arts, we understand art as exploration and dialogue. Therefore, we guide each student in creating solid and experimental work, integrating visual, electronic, and time-based media. Here, artistic practice is not merely technical: it is research-creation, critique, and experimentation situated within contemporary debates, to train artists capable of producing projects with an impact on today's cultural landscape.

The Master's Program in Visual, Electronic, and Time-Based Arts at the University of the Andes is a multidisciplinary research-creation program designed to guide each student in developing artistic works and projects aligned with their own creative, intellectual, and media interests. This program provides a space for exploring technical tools and conceptual frameworks where, regardless of prior artistic experience and guided by a faculty actively engaged in artistic practices, each student discovers new ways of thinking about and creating art within the contemporary context.

The Master's program in Visual, Electronic, and Time-Based Arts provides students with the knowledge to create artwork according to their chosen area of focus (visual, electronic, or time-based arts) and their specific production goals and interests. Throughout the program, students refine their existing skills and acquire new competencies by exploring and experimenting with diverse media, creative processes, and research methodologies, guided by professors specializing in the topics and materials they are working with.
