The Master's in Education offers a program with an innovative, competency-based, and flexible curriculum; developed by a highly qualified faculty with diverse interests and areas of work in the field of education.

Based on different pedagogical models (problem-based learning, project-oriented learning, German seminar, master sessions, among others), the Master's program aims to strengthen the three guiding concepts of the Faculty's mission: critique, participation, and reflection.

These concepts are based on the assumption that education should contribute to the improvement of society within a democratic system, which is the most suitable system of relationships for achieving this goal. In this sense, it is not simply a matter of assuming the inevitability of this phenomenon or taking for granted that a system, simply by being democratic, is already ideal. Rather, it is about understanding social processes as dynamic processes in which it is necessary to consider current circumstances, adopt a critical stance toward them, actively participate in building experiences that contribute to a better world, and maintain ongoing reflection on educational practice that allows us to learn from it, conceptualize it, and, based on this, improve it.
