To make the master study program in Development Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra a superior educational program in the field of development studies which is characterized by continuous knowledge improvement, and professionalism towards a university for industry.

MISSION

The missions of the Masters Study Program (S2) Development Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Sumatra are:

Implement education and teaching processes to increase knowledge and practical skills in analyzing the complexities of development, formulating development programs, establishing integrated and regional-based policies and being able to compete at local, regional and national levels.
Research Carry out research to find out actual issues related to development and the implications of development policies as well as improve the ability to analyze and respond to a problem with a scientific approach so that it can assist in the policy making process, determining policy strategies and implementing these policies.
