BACKGROUND

  • Property Management aims to manage property as an investment and business as well as manage the physical aspects of the property environment which aims to create an effective organizational system, increase income from the property, and guarantee and protect property and equipment from damage.
  • The development of property science gave birth to a new theory known as asset management. Asset management is a series of activities associated with asset identification, acquisition, maintenance, disposal and renewal of assets so that these assets can efficiently and effectively achieve organizational goals.
  • Property valuation is part of property management in order to optimize property value. Property valuation is also carried out for various purposes such as bank guarantees, insurance, taxes, mortgages, buying and selling, investment, dispute resolution, as well as determining fair value in financial statements as stipulated in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • This final business valuation also provides promising opportunities for the purposes of mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, divestment, separation from partnerships, consolidation, as well as initial public offerings, and privatization.
  • Students who have completed 3 Semesters will receive a Basic Level Appraisal Certificate for Property Appraisers and Business Appraisals from MAPPI. For those who want to get an advanced level certificate, they can take it in semester 4 or after completing their studies in accordance with applicable regulations.
