Become a study program that has academic excellence and is able to compete in the development of applied science and research in the field of development studies at the global level in 2021.

MISSION

Organizing education and teaching Strata 3 multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary programs in the field of social sciences that juxtapose and elaborate local knowledge of North Sumatra to produce graduates who are able to study, research and solve social development problems comprehensively with an educational orientation that emphasizes the aspect of finding alternative problem solving actual based on scientific studies, morals and conscience.
Implement and develop quality academic research and multi-disciplinary scientific development in order to generate new theories, ideas and concepts.
Carry out community service in the field of development studies that are useful for the welfare and progress of the community.
Produce graduates who become agents of change as a force of modernization in the life of the wider community, who have scientific competence, strong relevance and competitiveness and behave ethically intellectually.
