BACKGROUND

  • The development of an area has the meaning of aligning the use of limited natural resources with high goals in the future. This condition causes differences in sectors and locations of development drivers and uneven development results.
  • To design unequal resources and reduce development inequality, reliable human resources are needed in planning the optimal, efficient and sustainable use of resource allocation.
  • USU's Masters Program in Regional and Rural Development Planning (PWD), is one of the educational programs established to meet the needs of regional and rural planning personnel.

OBJECTIVE

  • Produce competent regional development planners.
  • Improving the research capability of regional development planning.
  • Increasing professional and constructive cooperation between educational institutions and district/city governments.
