The course seeks to respond to new offers from the audiovisual industry at national and international levels, which today constitute the main job market for actors. These new markets include opportunities in the field of cinema and television at national level and, above all, at international level provided by new platforms. While historically professional opportunities arose in the context of theatre (entry into structures and/or companies), in recent years these opportunities have arisen mainly in the context of cinema and audiovisual. Therefore, we understand that it is necessary to reconfigure the models of skills acquisition with these new markets in mind. This is, therefore, a course that seeks to fill an unfilled space in the context of university training provision.
