The Biochemistry degree course at Universidade Lusófona-Centro Universitário Lisboa aims to provide students with an understanding of the mechanisms that regulate life at the molecular, cellular and structural levels. Students will benefit from a competent and experienced teaching staff, modern and functional facilities, particularly for laboratory training, and the opportunity to embark on scientific research in the Biochemistry Project Course Unit. This new Biochemistry course embraces the challenge of training a new generation of Biochemists who will join public institutions or companies. Students will be encouraged to become entrepreneurs in their field of study. UL biochemists will receive in-depth laboratory training that will be applied, while still in the course, in research activities or in association with companies in the field.
