The Degree in Electrical Engineering of Energy Systems aims to train higher-level technicians with a solid basic training to perform functions in the field of Electrical Engineering of Energy Systems, enabling them to keep up with the evolution of knowledge and technologies throughout their professional career. Taking into account the challenges to be faced in the medium and long term, this Degree also promotes the training of entrepreneurial professionals, with equivalence recognized in the European space, allowing access to other educational degrees in national and international institutions. The Degree in Electrical Engineering of Energy Systems has a vast and diversified field of intervention, involving services and industries in the technological areas of electrical engineering and electrical energy, as well as technological support companies linked to the development and commercialization of systems and products and to planning, operation, maintenance and management activities in the area of Electrical Engineering. This Degree is registered with the Portuguese Technical Engineers Association (OET) and qualifies for registration with the Portuguese Engineers Association.
