The Master in Civil Protection at Universidade Lusófona do Porto intends to train professionals with high scientific and technical knowledge, to contribute to a highly qualified "Civil Protection" sector in the various areas of activity, public or private, and at different territorial, jurisdictional or political levels.
The Master in Civil Protection is a specialized training of high level in the fundamental areas of activity of the sector, namely:
- Risk assessment and management;
- Risk cartography;
- Emergency and territory planning;
- Civil protection design, certification and expertise;
- Fire safety in buildings;
- Prevention and combat of forest fires;
- Advanced tools and technologies.
