The master's degree in Environmental Engineering at ULHT is aimed at stimulating the creation and development of the scientific spirit and reflective thinking and training graduates in different areas of environmental engineering knowledge, capable of insertion in professional sectors and participation in development. It is distinguished by its strong laboratory and engineering project component; for the extensive network of partnerships it has, involving more than two dozen public and private companies and organizations; for the attention it gives to the different specialist areas of environmental engineering, and for the possibility of working after work and enabling a distance learning component aimed at candidates residing in Portuguese-speaking countries. Following the highest international standards of postgraduate education in this field of engineering, the subjects included in its study plan are taught by teachers/researchers with recognized academic skills and extensive experience in high-level international R&D projects in the area. engineering and environmental sciences.
