The Master's Program in Law, Technology, and Digital Society at the University of the Andes trains professionals capable of analyzing and responding to the legal challenges arising from technological transformation and the digitalization of society. In an environment where information and communication technologies (ICTs) are reshaping the economy, politics, public administration, and human rights, the program offers comprehensive training to understand, regulate, and anticipate the impacts of digital change from an ethical, social, and legal perspective.

Throughout the program, students explore the role of law in the design and use of technological tools, the dilemmas of cyberspace, digital platforms, electronic contracts, big data, automation, artificial intelligence, and the tensions between innovation and regulation. It is an opportunity to develop critical thinking and advanced legal skills that will enable them to lead innovative and ethically responsible solutions in a constantly evolving digital society.

With more than two decades of academic leadership from GECTI (Group for Studies on Internet, Electronic Commerce, Telecommunications and Informatics), the master's program combines the research strength of the Faculty of Law with an interdisciplinary and global approach.
