The Economics major is a scientific and practical field that studies the functioning mechanisms of society’s and the state’s economic system. Within this program, students systematically learn micro- and macroeconomic processes, market relations, financial and tax policies, as well as investment and entrepreneurial activities.
Throughout their studies, students develop analytical thinking, statistical analysis, economic forecasting, and decision-making skills. They gain practical experience in preparing economic projects, drafting business plans, and conducting market research.
Additionally, students enhance their oral and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and acquire proficiency in at least one foreign language relevant to the major.
