The Master’s programme in Architecture is aimed at preparing highly qualified specialists who possess an in-depth understanding of modern architectural theory and practice based on strong scientific and methodological foundations. The programme equips students with the ability to systematically analyze complex spatial problems and develop innovative design solutions.

The curriculum integrates functional, aesthetic, structural, social, and ecological components of architecture through a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach, enabling a multifaceted perspective on spatial design and development. Students develop independent decision-making skills in professional activities such as the development of conceptual frameworks for architectural projects, functional zoning, application of compositional principles, and the selection of structural systems.

The programme prioritizes the application of modern digital technologies in architecture, providing students with competencies in Building Information Modeling (BIM), three-dimensional visualization, parametric design, and digital simulation tools. These technologies enhance project coordination, integration with engineering systems, and the efficiency of project management processes. At the same time, students gain knowledge in the organization of architectural and construction processes, technical supervision mechanisms, and project management principles, enabling them to participate effectively in the implementation of complex architectural projects.

The programme also addresses contemporary issues such as the human-centered organization of architectural environments, the implementation of inclusive and universal design principles, social integration, and the consideration of cultural context in spatial planning. Psychological and behavioral aspects of space, user experience, and the alignment of public interests are considered essential elements in architectural decision-making.

Furthermore, the efficient use of natural resources, development of green infrastructure, preservation of biodiversity, and the integration of sustainable development principles into the design process are emphasized as key strategic directions of architectural practice.

The programme also focuses on the preservation of historical and architectural heritage, including the scientific organization of conservation and restoration processes, analysis of structural and functional characteristics of existing monuments, and the development of optimal technological solutions for their restoration.

Master’s students acquire research methodology skills that enable them to conduct both applied and fundamental research in the field of architecture, perform analytical assessments, and provide theoretical justification for architectural decisions and design processes.
