Transport Construction Engineering focuses on improving and advancing technological processes applied in the design, construction, maintenance, and operation enterprises of the transport construction sector in order to enhance production efficiency.

The field encompasses the surveying, design, and construction of highways and railways, aerodromes, bridges, and transport tunnels, as well as the maintenance, repair, and reconstruction of transport facilities. It also includes the production of bridge and tunnel structures and road construction materials.

Transport Construction Engineering includes the following professional activities:

  • Development and management of technological processes for the construction, operation, and maintenance of transport facilities;

  • Quality control of construction materials and products used in projects, and supervision of technological operations;

  • Monitoring compliance with existing norms and standards;

  • Preparation and management of technical documentation;

  • Assessment of the environmental impact of construction technologies, materials, and technical measures, and early identification of environmentally harmful processes;

  • Forecasting and evaluation of natural and anthropogenic factors affecting the safe movement of transport systems;
