Frequently Asked Questions

Medical certificates are not regarded as a legal basis for cancelling absences. According to the regulations, a student is allowed to miss up to 25% of the total class hours of a course. This provides flexibility for students to be absent for valid reasons, including illness.
The GPA (Grade Point Average), also referred to as the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), is the arithmetic average of the final grades a student receives in courses throughout their studies. It is used to measure academic performance and is one of the key criteria for master’s admissions, scholarship programs, and job applications.
Yes. If the lecturer’s teaching workload allows, a student may choose or change their lecturer.
The GPA is calculated as a weighted average of the grades obtained in all courses taken during the semester. Each course grade is multiplied by the number of credits earned for that course. The sum of these weighted grades is then divided by the total number of credits предусмотренных for that semester. In other words, each course contributes to the GPA proportionally to its credit value. Courses with higher credit hours have a greater impact on the final GPA. If a student does not receive a passing grade in a course, the credit for that course is not considered earned and does not contribute to the weighted calculation.
Admission to English-language groups is conducted in accordance with the admission rules established by the State Examination Center. According to the decision of the Ministry of Education, transfer from one language division to another is not permitted.
