The Information Security master’s programme focuses on the protection of information assets in modern digital environments. It provides students with strong analytical and strategic competencies in cryptography, authentication mechanisms, data confidentiality, integrity and availability, secure communication protocols, and key management infrastructures.

The programme develops practical skills in network security, threat detection and prevention, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and the use of security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems. Students also learn to design and implement risk management strategies and security policies.

In addition, the programme covers incident response, digital forensics, log analysis, and SIEM systems, and aligns with international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and COBIT. Graduates are prepared for careers in both public and private sectors, ensuring secure and resilient information systems.
