The Master's Degree in International Affairs: Economics, Politics and Law offers a multidisciplinary approach that favours the study and analysis of international affairs in a rigorous and innovative way, in line with the excellence and vanguard that characterise the education offered by Comillas Pontifical University. Studying our Master's in International Affairs allows you to acquire a wide range of tools with which to tackle global challenges and the complexity of international reality from an economic, legal and political perspective.


The official Master's degree provides you with a transversal and advanced training in international affairs, which is structured into a module of common subjects and an in-depth legal-political and economic-business itinerary. The program is completed with an academic stay at Georgetown University (Washington, USA), where you will receive classes from prestigious academics and professional experts in international relations, foreign policy and international economics. The academic experience of the Master's program is also enhanced by attending lectures, courses and seminars, including the series of meetings with diplomats and the sessions of the University's Latin America Chair.


The Master in International Affairs is organised by the two faculties that make up ICADE, the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies and the Faculty of Law at Comillas Pontifical University, recognised as the best in Spain and the seventh in the world in terms of the "Employability rate of its graduates".

Admission Requirements

Hold a Spanish Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent (or a Bachelor's degree from the previous education system). Exceptionally, students may also be admitted if they hold an undergraduate degree from an educational system outside the European Higher Education Area that has not been recognised. In this case, the application for admission must be addressed to the rector. - Have a good academic record and internships or work experience (50%). - Have sufficient knowledge of the English/Spanish language, particularly in its application to international affairs, taking into account that some subjects of the master's degree are taught in English (20%). The required level of English is B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Non-Spanish speaking students are also required to have a B2 level of Spanish. In both cases, an admission test, prepared by the University's Institute of Modern Languages, may be taken. - Questions or tests aimed at verifying analytical skills, oral and/or written expression and learning ability may be asked (10%). - Admission interview with the Master's Director or the Master's Coordinator-Tutor (20%).
