This Christian spirituality appears in a particular way in many books of the Old and New Testament, the main object of study of the Specialist in Biblical Spirituality program. A deeper knowledge of them and, above all, of the experience of the biblical God, can lead people to live in faithfulness to God and make possible changes in their attitudes, practices and inter-human relationships, because praying and doing justice come, according to the Bible, from a common source: the gratuitousness of God.
In this program, the Bible is analysed as food for the spiritual life, an element to which we must all turn in order to know God's language for every age, for "we listen to God when we read his words" (ibid. 25).
