The PhD in Psychology consists of several area of concentrations including: Brain, Cognitive and Developmental Sciences; Clinical Psychology and Social Psychology. The highlights of this program include: Intensive focus on research experiences and academic rigor; Emphasis on research, teaching, and applied work in psychology; 80 graduate students engaged in cutting-edge research across disciplines and Published students research in top journals and present at professional conferences. Graduate student support includes a tuition waiver including most (but not all) instructional fees. Stipends are consistent with the cost of living in Oxford, OH. Principal investigators may provide additional support, as available. Clinical students typically spend 2-3 years on clinical placements in the region that provide the same level of support. Once admitted, students may also apply to a number of awards and scholarships from the graduate school.

Typically, 16 years of schooling with four years of full-time study at the university level, culminating with the award of a first or second degree.
