The Sales Management major emphasizes personal selling, sales management, and business-to-business marketing. Graduates will have a firm grasp of negotiation skills, selling best practices, planning sales strategies, optimizing compensation programs, and resolving customer and sales team complaints. Sales Management draws courses from a variety of disciplines to prepare students to work in sales/sales management, as well as other organizations in managerial and staff capacities. Students are allowed only one CMR major. Double CMR majors are not permitted. Graduates are prepared to work in sales and management, as well as other managerial and staff capacities such as overseeing a sales team, organizing sales training, setting sales projections, optimizing compensation programs and resolving customer and sales team complaints.
