The Criminal Justice program offers students a comprehensive understanding of crime, justice, punishment and corrections, policing, and the legal system within the context of a liberal arts education. The program provides students with opportunities to engage with students, faculty, and staff outside the classroom through organizations like the Criminal Justice Society and events such as Citizenship and Democracy Week. Study abroad opportunities are available, along with day, evening, and online courses. Policing, probation and parole, private security, and corrections are common occupations sought by criminal justice graduates. Graduates have also completed advanced degrees in law and related areas.
