The Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Outdoor Leadership (TOL) is an interdisciplinary degree that gives students the conceptual and applied skills needed to provide high-quality visitor experiences while sustaining the natural resources where recreation and tourism occurs. Completion of an approved option is required for the BS in TOL degree. Four options are currently available: Adventure Leadership and Education Eco and Adventure Tourism focuses on developing and managing businesses in eco and adventure tourism. International Ecotourism focuses on the special aspects of nature-based tourism in foreign countries. Recreation Management focuses on the management of visitors by land management agencies.
