The finance industry is ever-evolving and fast-paced, shaped by market trends, economic factors, and transformative innovations such as blockchain, fintech, and AI. When you work in finance, no two days are the same, and every day presents new and exciting opportunities.

Master of Business (Applied Finance) caters to individuals with limited finance experience who wish to pivot their careers or progress into managerial finance roles. It covers foundational topics in managerial finance and economics, progressing to advanced studies in corporate finance, security analysis, portfolio management, trading, and risk management.

Throughout the program, you will enhance your finance knowledge, extending it to the context of making capital budgeting decisions. You will analyse complex real-world situations and select appropriate capital budgeting techniques. Moreover, you will identify and discuss the complexities inherent in corporate capital budgeting decisions, drawing on empirical evidence related to these decisions.

The program also offers a unique opportunity to explore real-world investment practices and challenges, utilizing actual datasets in our Economics and Finance Bloomberg Lab. Our lab provides access to real-time financial data from Bloomberg, a leading provider for top financial institutions worldwide. Throughout your studies, you will deepen your comprehension of fixed-income securities, acquire strategies for portfolio management, and develop technical skills to navigate and mitigate risks. Additionally, you'll gain insights into alternative assets, extending beyond the conventional focus on equities and fixed income to include real estate, commodities, and hedge funds.
