In your justice degree, you'll have opportunities to gain experience and make meaningful industry connections through your capstone project with options of a: professional justice placement, professional placement in first nations justice sectors, or justice industry project.
You law degree will prepare you for the modern world of law through a hands-on approach that ensures you gain a comprehensive understanding of the Australian legal system. You’ll build expertise in key areas of law, including contract law, legal research, equity and trusts, constitutional law, administrative law, and commercial and personal property law. You'll explore emerging areas such as ESG, and law, technology and innovation. You'll also gain a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, preparing you to work effectively in culturally diverse settings.
Whether through placements in legal practice, research projects or community engagement, our law degrees is designed to bridge the gap between legal education and professional practice.
As part of your practical experience, you MAY be required to undergo additional checks:
- Working with children check (Blue card)
- Queensland's Disability Worker Screening
- Police Check (Criminal History Check)
