Master of Nurse Practitioner provides an opportunity for advanced practice, registered nurses to expand their scope of practice, knowledge and skills in preparation for endorsement as a nurse practitioner. The course demonstrates a clear integration with the national Nurse practitioner standards for practice (NMBA, 2021) which are grounded in the four domains of clinical practice, research, education and leadership. The course offers:
- new and innovative nationally accredited course with 8 units
- potential for advanced standing for previous study
- flexible delivery mode—we will work with you to develop the best progression plan over 2-4 years
- 100% on-line course delivery of all units including orientation
- opportunity to learn with a large team of highly experienced NPs

Prior study entry requirement You must have a completed postgraduate qualification from a recognised higher education institution in a relevant clinical field.
Hospital and professional training, certificates, etc are not acceptable in lieu of a higher education postgraduate qualification. Incomplete postgraduate studies are also not acceptable.
Professional registration entry requirement You must have current registration as a nurse (Division 1) without conditions with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

- have a minimum of four years full-time (or equivalent) clinical practice experience as a registered nurse in the nominated speciality
- have a minimum of two years full-time (or equivalent) experience (within the last six years) in an advanced nursing practice role in the nominated speciality
- have the support of your Executive Director of Nursing (or equivalent).
Additional entry requirements You must provide with your online application:
- a statement of service on an official letterhead confirming your clinical practice experience as a registered nurse in the nominated speciality
- a completed Evidence of advanced practice nursing and course requirements form
- a completed Executive Director of Nursing (or equivalent) support form
