Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)

Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) offers a teaching qualification for graduates with education undergraduate degree. It is designed to complement content knowledge obtained from graduates’ previous qualification, and the breadth of life and other experiences graduates can draw on in the role of early childhood teacher. This course emphasizes innovative ways to provide foundation programs for young learners from birth to eight years of age, setting up these children for their lifelong learning journey. This course meets professional teaching standards for the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership and Queensland College of Teachers. Graduates are also recognised as qualified early childhood teachers under the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority framework. Graduates are eligible to apply for teacher registration.
