Bachelor of Design

We offer the widest range of design disciplines and are the second largest provider of design courses in the country. Our design degree prepares students to have adaptable and resilient capabilities to design, think critically, and effectively communicate and collaborate to realise their ideas in diverse situations.
Choose your design major from the available majors in this double degree combination:
  • industrial design
  • interaction design

We also offer a separate architecture and engineering double degree, the Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours).

From first semester, you will be immersed in a hands-on creative environment. You'll start developing your own style and build your portfolio throughout your degree. Collaboration with students from other design disciplines is encouraged and reflects real design practice. You'll work in fully-equipped workshops with 3D printing, laser-cutting and the latest technologies.
